TAG Heuer Watches Will Display NFTs

Despite lingering concerns about the “winter approaching” of cryptocurrencies, the luxury brand club that has entered the cryptocurrency space has ushered in a new member – TAG Heuer (TAG Heuer). After TAG Heuer introduced crypto payments on its US website not long ago, the Swiss luxury watch maker has taken another step in its NFT quest, allowing users to display their precious digital property. TAG Heuer’s new Connected Calibre E4 smartwatch will incorporate NFT functionality, allowing users to securely connect to their crypto wallets and change the watch’s digital dial to display their NFT artwork.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell announced on Wednesday that he would raise interest rates by 75 basis points, the largest increase since 1994, and signaled an additional 175 basis points of tightening this year to fight inflation. The main cryptocurrency market fell after the release of the minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, but quickly recovered as investors braced for the upheaval. At the time of writing, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has gained 4.3% in the past 24 hours, consolidating gains near $22,000. Selling Value Bands is an on-chain indicator that tracks BTC market activity across different value segments. Over the past two days, the indicator has observed a lot of market activity from institutions, with addresses with balances over 10,000 BTC deploying funds on and off exchanges; at the same time, exchanges from miners have seen net inflows of BTC worth $1.94 billion.

ETH is holding its ground at a key support level near $1,000 amid intense selling pressure. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is up 5% in the past 24 hours and is slowly recovering to $1,200. A break above the next major resistance level near $1,280 could see ETH accelerate its gains. Similarly, most major non-mainstream coins have recovered strongly, among which SOL and TRX led the rise of non-mainstream coins by more than 20% in the same period.
