How to verify your account with Paxful?
You’ve successfully created your Paxful account, what’s next? Before you start trading, please make sure to pass the account verification.
Verifying your Paxful account allows you to enjoy the exclusive benefits of the platform, and Paxful’s team can better assist you if you encounter problems.
Paxful has four account verification levels , the higher the level, the higher your transaction and wallet sending limits will be at any time.
To help you pass full verification of your Paxful account, please follow these simple steps:
Authentication
Please make sure to verify your phone number and email address before proceeding.
Verifying your identity can increase your transaction limit and wallet sending limit to $10,000 each.
Step 1: Log in to your account
Log in to your Paxful account and click the arrow to the right of your profile photo.
Click on Start Verification and you will be taken to the verification page.
Step 2: Fill in the necessary information
Verify your phone number and email address (if not already done) before proceeding to the next verification level.
To complete identity verification, have your government-issued ID, passport, or driver’s license ready.
Select your country of residence and type of identification document.
Carefully read the message below the ID document type field, then click I understand to confirm. When done, click Start verification process.
Step 3: Upload your file
Next, you will need to upload your own files. Uploading can be done via mobile phone, camera or local device.
If you click Continue on your phone, you can email the link or scan the QR code.
If you want to use the camera to take pictures, you will need to take a photo of the front and back of your ID or driver’s license. If you uploaded a passport, just continue to the next step.
Please make sure the photo is legible so Paxful’s team can quickly review your information. When done, click Confirm.
If you wish to upload the file from your device, please make sure to submit a color image of the entire file in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. When the file is ready, click OK.
Step 4: Take a Selfie
Once the file is uploaded, take a selfie. Click Start and follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
Then, complete the scan and wait for the image to pass verification.
Address verification
After successfully verifying your identity, you can proceed to Verification of Address (PoA). A transaction limit of $50,000 is available through address verification. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to your Paxful profile
Go to your Paxful profile and click Increase transaction limit under the verification section.
Step 2: Fill in the necessary information
This step requires your home or utility bill, phone bill, bank or credit card statement with your address.
Note that the document should show your full name and address, and the information above should match the information you entered.
Once you have filled in the necessary fields, click Start Verification Process and you will be taken to the upload page.
Step 3: Upload your file
Before selecting files, make sure all files are written in the Latin alphabet or Cyrillic characters.
In languages other than the above, please translate it and attach the statement to the address verification instructions.
Paxful does not accept documents older than three (3) months, black and white documents, cropped documents, screenshots of documents, or PO Box addresses.
Please select and review your files. When done, click Continue and you will see a confirmation message.
If you confirm that the document is correct, click Confirm and wait for verification.
The information you submit will be reviewed manually or automatically.
Automatic verification may take 24 hours and manual review may take seven (7) days. You can learn more about Paxful’s account verification here.
