Binance Receives Permanent License for Digital Asset Services in Kazakhstan

Binance, the world’s leading provider of blockchain and crypto asset infrastructure, has been granted a permanent license by the Financial Services Authority (AFSA) of Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Center to operate as a digital asset platform at the Astana International Financial Center Start operations and provide hosting services.

Binance has previously received in-principle approval from the agency, which requires Binance to complete a complete application process to ensure permanent authorization.

The permanent license means Binance has become a regulated platform in Kazakhstan and is a testament to Binance’s strong compliance and security.

The Binance platform will be authorized to provide digital asset trading and conversion services, deposits and withdrawals of fiat currencies, cryptocurrency custody and exchange trading.

Online registration is possible for Kazakhstani individuals and legal entities regardless of their country of residence.

The range of services available on the Binance platform is expected to increase over time.

The Financial Services Supervision Commission of the Astana International Financial Center is the independent regulator of the financial center and the only agency that oversees digital asset-related activities in Kazakhstan.
