Binance Receives Regulatory Approval from the Swedish Financial Services Authority (FSA) in Seventh EU Country

Binance received registration approval from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority on January 10, 2023.

Binance is now licensed in fifteen jurisdictions around the world, including seven EU member states.

On January 10, after months of constructive communication with regulators, Binance Nordics AB has received registration approval from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Swedish FSA) as a local financial institution that manages and trades virtual currencies.

Binance Nordics AB has a registration number of 66822.

As the world’s largest crypto-asset exchange, the registration means that residents of Sweden can now use Binance’s wide range of crypto and Web3 services, including the popular deposit and withdrawal in euros, buying cryptocurrencies with euros, trading, staking and currency exchange.

Following France, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, and Poland, Sweden becomes the seventh EU member state for Binance to receive registration approval.
