How to join cTrader Demo Contest
To join OctaFX’s cTrader trading contest, please follow the steps below.
1. Open a new cTrader Weekly Demo Contest account
Sign up or log in to your Personal Area on OctaFX, then open cTrader Weekly Demo Contest account.
To signup, go to the OctaFX’s online registration page.
After opening an account, download the cTrader trading platform to get ready for trading. (Or you can use the browser version.)
3. Wait until the contest date and start trading on cTrader using a contest account
You can find the start date of the next round at the top of the cTrader Weekly Demo Contest page.
cTrader Weekly Demo Contest account offers 28 currency pairs + Gold and Silver for trading, leverage is 1:500, minimum volume is 0.01 lot, step is 0.01 lot and maximum is not limited.
4. Get the highest balance and win a prize!
You can use any trading techniques and cBots.
But any kind of arbitrage trading or any other abuse with pricing and/or quotes will be subject to disqualification from the contest.
You can find your contest rank in the “My Accounts list” on the main page of your Personal Area.
Funding and Withdrawal Conditions
It’s virtual money in your contest account that OctaFX provides.
So you don’t need to deposit any real funds to participate in the demo contest.
You are free to withdraw the prize or make more money from trading on your real account.
In case prize funds are used for real trading, the withdrawal limit is 300% of the prize funds (including both the prize funds and profit).
