How to join Bybit’s Competition?

Users are eligible to participate in the BTC & ETH Troop Throwdown if their equity (Derivatives account balance) is ≥ 0.03 BTC or 0.45 ETH at the time of registration.

Troop Throwdown uses BTC and ETH Inverse Contracts (includes Inverse Futures and Inverse Perpetuals).

Requirements to participate in Bybit’s competition are:

Threshold Volume:

Transaction volume of the participating coin (such as BTC or ETH) is ≥ 30,000 USD during the competition period.

Effective P&L(%) or Profit:

Trading volume must be above the prescribed threshold.

BTC & ETH Troop Throwdown Rewards

The total prize pool of up to 6,000,000 USDT contains Troop P&L(%) Reward, Individual P&L(%) Reward, and Individual Profit Reward.

Troop P&L(%) Reward:

Accounts for 70% of the total prize pool, with top 10 troops getting the reward. In each winning Troop, the Troop Leader will get 20% of the Troop rewards, the top 10 eligible members will share 30% of the Troop rewards, and the remaining 50% Troop rewards will be shared equally by the Troop members who reach the threshold volume.

Individual P&L(%) Reward:

Accounts for 15% of the total prize pool, with the top 10 participants getting the rewards. The system will calculate the coin P&L(%) and see which one has a higher P&L(%) (BTC or ETH Inverse Contracts).

Individual Profit Reward:

Accounts for 15% of the total prize pool, with the top 10 participants getting the rewards. The system will calculate all your BTC and ETH Inverse Contracts profits. Calculated according to the snapshot prices of BTC and ETH at the time of the last update.

These rewards will be sent to the winners’ Bybit accounts and can be withdrawn directly.

Rewards are cumulative and not mutually exclusive.

5% of the eventual prize pool plus contributions from Bybit, totaling $400,000, will be donated to UNICEF to support the agency’s Reimagine Education work in East Asia and the Pacific region to help children access quality education and prepare them for future employment.

Troop P&L(%) Reward and Calculation Formula

Troop member’s Profit = [Account Equity (incl. unrealized P&L and/or bonus) – Initial Equity (incl. unrealized P&L and/or bonus) + Withdrawal amount during the competition – Deposit amount during the competition].

Troop member’s P&L(%) = Profit / (Initial Equity + Total Deposits) *100%.

Troop’s P&L(%) = Total P&L(%) of top 10 members / 10 (members who are listed in the top 10 with trading volume < 30,000 USD and/or negative returns will be excluded). If there are fewer than 10 members in the Troop who meet the requirements, it will still be divided by 10.

Deposits:

Accumulated deposits (incl. transfers, awarded bonus, commissions, asset exchange) during the competition period.

Withdrawals:

Accumulated withdrawals (incl. any withdrawals and asset exchange) during the competition period.

Initial Equity:

Equity in the Derivatives account at the start of the competition or, in the case of late registration, the equity in the Derivatives account at the time of the registration.

Account Equity:

Calculated every five (5) minutes until the conclusion of the competition.
