Binance NFT Market is pleased to announce that it will jointly launch the first NFT series- “Healing Time”, with Djimon Hounsou, an actor and humanitarian who has been nominated for two Oscars, and the famous visual artist LÁOLÚ.

The series will be sold from 00:00, November 11, 2021, to 23:59, November 15, 2021.

The series includes 6 unique portraits of Djimon Hounsou drawn by LÁOLÚ (please see the information below for a quick peek).

Djimon’s abstract images are projected onto a physical canvas and then converted into a digital NFT version.

Bid to win a one-on-one video call with Djimon Hounsou.

The highest bidder among the 5 auction works will be invited to participate in a one-on-one video call with Djimon Hounsou.

The Healing Time series consists of exquisite digital art works, including five limited-edition dynamic NFT portraits ( Ìyàraẹniṣọtọ II, Inúfùfù, Ikọjalẹ, Ìyàraẹniṣọtọ 1, Mo Gbá ) and a stunning static portrait of NFT ( Adọtọ 1, Mo Gbá ).

All NFTs are based on the portrait of Djimon Hounsou, on which the artist Láolú uses body art paintings called “Orí’s Sacred Art” to create stunning NFT works.

In this series, LÁOLÚ painted Yoruba motifs on Djimon’s head, right hand and left shoulder.

In addition, he also added symbols related to alertness, compassion and the pursuit of freedom.

Through external displays, the artist reflects the inner nature of Djimon as an “African Warrior of Light”.

The animated NFT portraits in this series are unique.

They will be sold through auction with a reserve price of 15,000 BUSD. The static NFT portrait ọwọ Adura is sold at a fixed price of 350 BUSD per piece , limited to 1,000 pieces.

Part of the proceeds from the NFT sale will be donated to the Djimon Hounsou Foundation.

This is a non-profit organization that aims to reconnect African diasporas with the motherland and combat modern slavery and human trafficking.

Each account can purchase up to 20 blind boxes.

The winner will receive an email from the Djimon Hounsou Fund (DHF) by November 30, 2021, East 8th district time, and DHF will contact the winner via email to coordinate the video call.
