BitMEX expands to Vancouver, British Columbia.
BitMEX has announced that the latest destination for expanding the global footprint is Vancouver, British Columbia.
Vancouver is an ideal destination because of its innovative culture, talented people proficient in cryptocurrency, and friendly business environment.
BitMEX’s office in Vancouver will enable it to grow more rapidly and build stronger 24/7 support functions for BitMEX’s business-including technology, security, customer service, and development and operation capabilities.
Alexander Höptner, CEO of BitMEX, said:

Initially, BitMEX’s number of employees was about 20, covering different functions, and BitMEX expects this number to continue to grow over time.
In late October, BitMEX also announced the plan to expand the group’s business to Switzerland. Switzerland will be the home of BitMEX Link, innovative brokerage service for adopting and trading digital assets.
As BitMEX expands in Vancouver, BitMEX will open up more trading opportunities for customers in new product lines in multiple jurisdictions around the world.
