The moment we’ve been waiting for all month has finally arrived: Bitpanda has just completed the 10th BEST burn, destroying 1,767,812 BEST worth a total of €1,299,395. Only the best for the BEST users: the 10th destruction of BEST

For the 10th BEST destruction, Bitpanda has accumulated BEST since Bitpanda’s previous burn on January 27th and today Bitpanda has destroyed 1,767,812 BEST, for a total value of €1,299,395. With the introduction of the new BEST Stimulus Program, Bitpanda withdraws and destroys BEST in the amount of up to 25% of the trading fees collected by BEST holders with a VIP level. This destruction process will be repeated every month until a maximum of 75% of the total supply of BEST (out of the 1 billion BEST originally issued) is eliminated.

In case you’re wondering why Bitpanda is destroying BEST: The goal of Bitpanda’s BEST burns is to decrease the total amount of BEST in existence. After the destruction process, there are fewer tokens left in circulation, making the remaining tokens more valuable and therefore bringing more profit to Bitpanda’s BEST holders.

That’s why they’re creating the Bitpanda Emergency Response Fund, a crowdfunding platform that allows the community to contribute the digital crypto assets of their choice to causes that provide humanitarian support to people affected by war.

The first recipients of the Bitpanda Emergency Response Fund are Save the Children – Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund and Doctors Without Borders – Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), and Bitpanda will continue to add new organizations as recommended by Bitpanda’s team and community of over 3 million customers.
