CoinEX’s Monthly CET Repurchase and Burning
On November 1, 2021, according to the agreement on the value of CET, CoinEx carried out the seventh monthly CET repurchase in 2021 and destroyed 92,852,031.11 CET.
- Repurchase quantity: 92,852,031.11 CET
- Destroyed market value: 5,783,285.42 USD
As of November 1, 2021, the details of CET’s cumulative repurchase, cumulative destruction, and remaining total are as follows:
- Cumulative repurchase: 928,363,166.31 CET
- Cumulative destruction: 6,009,344,220.42 CET
- Total remaining amount: 3,927,665,765.00 CET
According to the “Information Disclosure on CET Circulation and Future Application” announcement, CoinEx will use 50% of the platform fee income to repurchase CET every day, and will destroy all CET repurchased in the current month at the end of each natural month until The total amount of CET is reduced to 3 billion.
According to user feedback, after careful consideration, CoinEx decided to continue to use 20% of the platform’s fee income to repurchase and destroy CET after the total amount of CET is reduced to 3 billion, until all CET is destroyed.
