Binance will support the Polygon (MATIC) network upgrade and hard fork. The specific arrangements are as follows:
Binance is expected to suspend the deposit and withdrawal of MATIC tokens at 15:00 on January 18, 2022, in order to support Polygon (MATIC) at the Polygon block height of 23,850,000 (estimated on January 1, 2022, East Eight District time). The network upgrade and hard fork carried out at 16:00 on March 18).
During network upgrades and hard forks, MATIC transactions will not be affected.
Polygon (MATIC) will carry out network upgrade at Polygon block height 23,850,000, the estimated time is for reference only.
Please recharge tokens in advance, Binance will assist users to deal with any technical issues in network upgrades and hard forks.
Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals after the network upgrade and hard fork of Polygon (MATIC), and no further announcement will be made when the network is running stably.
The Polygon network will introduce a token burning mechanism in this network upgrade and hard fork.
As of the time of this announcement, the Binance team has not obtained a security audit report on the Polygon network upgrade and hard fork.
