From oldPYR to PYR – PYR Token Swap

Since the security attack on PYR on December 13, 2021 (Eastern Eighth District Time), the Binance team has been in close communication with the Vulcan Forged team, actively seeking solutions for users affected by this.

Binance will operate in accordance with the “token swap” solution announced by the PYR team.

The specific arrangements are as follows:

According to the announcement issued by the Vulcan Forged team, Binance will only replace the Ethereum (Ethereum) block height 13861639 (December 23, 2021 09:19:35, Eastern Eighth District Time) and Polygon (MATIC) block height 22869063 ( PYR that has been recharged before 09:19:44, December 23, 2021 (East Eighth District Time).

Binance has taken a snapshot of users’ PYR positions during the above time period and will issue new PYR tokens to all eligible users according to the conversion ratio of 1 PYR (old token) = 1 PYR (new token).

After the token replacement is completed, the old PYR token will be renamed “oldPYR”, and the new PYR token will continue to use the “PYR” token name and existing logo.

Binance will distribute the new PYR tokens after receiving them.

After the distribution is completed, a separate announcement will be made and the opening hours of the recharge and withdrawal of the new PYR tokens will be announced at the same time.

Binance will no longer support the recharge and withdrawal of old PYR tokens.

Any old PYR tokens recharged to Binance will not be successfully credited. The old PYR recharged before the snapshot time will be automatically updated to the new PYR token, and the user does not need to take any action.
