Bybit has recently upgraded its security system.

If you are notified that you need to re-bind Google Authenticator, please follow the guide below to unbind the current Google Authenticator, and then re-bind the new Google Authenticator.

This step cannot be operated through the Bybit App.

Therefore, please use the PC-side account and security page to unbind Google’s two-step verification.

In the following demonstration, the trader can also move the mouse pointer to the nickname in the upper right corner to enter the account and security page.

Next, click the unbinding button next to Google Authenticator.

How to disable your Bybit 2FA from your Google Authenticator

You will receive a confirmation message that Google Authenticator has been successfully unbound.

After creating a new Google Authenticator, please don’t forget to delete the previous Bybit verification code on Google Authenticator to avoid confusion.

After unbinding the previous Google Authenticator, please re-create a new Google Two-Step Verification as soon as possible.
