Bybit has recently upgraded its security system.
If you are notified that you need to re-bind Google Authenticator, please follow the guide below to unbind the current Google Authenticator, and then re-bind the new Google Authenticator.
This step cannot be operated through the Bybit App.
Therefore, please use the PC-side account and security page to unbind Google’s two-step verification.
In the following demonstration, the trader can also move the mouse pointer to the nickname in the upper right corner to enter the account and security page.
Next, click the unbinding button next to Google Authenticator.
Next, enter your account login password and the existing Google verification code.
You will receive a confirmation message that Google Authenticator has been successfully unbound.
After creating a new Google Authenticator, please don’t forget to delete the previous Bybit verification code on Google Authenticator to avoid confusion.
After unbinding the previous Google Authenticator, please re-create a new Google Two-Step Verification as soon as possible.
Please check Bybit official website or contact the customer support with regard to the latest information and more accurate details.
Bybit official website is here.
Please click "Introduction of Bybit", if you want to know the details and the company information of Bybit.
