What is Margin Insurance Fund?
CoinEx will inject 30% of the daily platform loan interest income and the liquidation fee collected into the leverage insurance fund for the distribution of margin trading. CoinEx reserves the right to deal with the income of this platform in other ways in the future.

Purpose of Margin Insurance Fund
When a margin trading user is forced to liquidate the position and the margin account does not have enough funds to repay the loss, resulting in negative equity in the margin account, CoinEx will use the leverage insurance fund to cover the loss for the margin trading user who has broken the position.
When the insurance fund cannot be deducted from the distribution of positions, the remaining undeducted part will be paid in advance by the system. The arrears corresponding to the users who have crossed positions will be recorded (the withdrawal function is restricted, and normal transactions will not be affected).
The user can take the initiative to transfer the assets to the leveraged account of the arrears, and the system will automatically repay the arrears ; they can also wait for the replenishment of the leverage insurance fund. After the replenishment of the leverage insurance fund, the user’s arrears will be deducted according to the time of the user’s arrears , the user’s cash withdrawal function will be resumed after the arrears are paid off.

Method 2:
Access the official website of CoinEx ( https://www.coinex.com ) through a browser, and after successful login, click [CoinEx] on the top navigation bar;
Click the icon in the upper right corner of the order placing area, select [Insurance Fund], and enter the margin insurance fund page;
After filtering the currency to be queried, you can view the corresponding insurance fund details.
